Department of Physics
About the Department

 The Department of Physics has started its journey with General course from 1964, since the inception of the college. The Honours course in Physics was started from 1968. Presently the Department is offering Undergraduate Courses Bachelor of Science in Physics (Hons) and Bachelor of Science in Physics (General) under the semester system under CBCS scheme with effect from 2017-18 sessions under The University of Burdwan. The department has an adequate number of efficient and competent faculties who take focused measures to cater to the growing academic needs and expectations of the students. Department is enriched with five well equipped laboratories with latest equipments to provide good hands-on experience to the students.
