Department of Political Science
About the Department

 

The Department of Political Science has started its journey with General course from 1959, since the inception of the college. The Honours course in Political Science was started from 2006. Presently the Department is offering Undergraduate Courses Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (General) under the semester system under CBCS scheme with effect from 2017-18 sessions under The University of Burdwan. The department has an adequate number of efficient and competent faculties who take focused measures to cater to the growing academic needs and expectations of the students.
