Department of Chemistry
About the Department

       The Department of Chemistry has started its journey with General course from 1959, since the inception of the college. The Honours course in chemistry was started from 2001. Presently the Department is offering Undergraduate Courses Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Hons) and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (General) under the semester system under CBCS scheme with effect from 2017-18 sessions under The University of Burdwan. The department has an adequate number of efficient and competent faculties who take focused measures to cater to the growing academic needs and expectations of the students. Department is enriched with four well equipped laboratories with latest equipments to provide good hands-on experience to the students.
